To create the xhtml and css for the new look homepage(s) which not only had to be pixel perfect but my work also had to fit into the stellent content management system.
The four main "level one" navigation menus had to be designed so that the fourth button could be added or taken off at anytime and by changing one class the buttons sorted out the different heights of the buttons as well as the text padding. I had not seen this before and had to design it from scratch.

To showcase that I am still more than capable of creating absolute positioned web sites I built Wizz Kidz. Everything is positioned absolute or relative and is 100% cross browser compatible. To make this a little harder I also created a sprite navigation with the links all scattershot for an added challenge.
CSS3 was used for the yellow box and I split the links into adult (top) and child (left) so both can use the site.

I had to create a more modern, cleaner and faster loading web page. The navigation needed to be clearer and easier to use.
A huge amount of thought and usability research went into this one. I used the eye-tracking "F Pattern" for the design. I use a heat map on the page to spot patterns and fine tune the pages. I also re-thought the SEO strategy which has seen huge jumps in the rankings. Since going live the sales have increased 18% and bounce rates drop to below 15%.

This is the homepage for the Electricity company Ecotricity. A revamp of the old page was needed because updating the previous version was a major headache.
This page not only had to be pixel perfect and cross browser compatible with the usual browsers it also has to be pixel perfect on macs. I can't remember the last time I used position absolutes on a web page but it was needed on this page to make updating the boxes easier. This company updates and blue-skies a lot so I wanted a page which gave me the controls I needed for this forward thinking.

The Greenbird is a Land and Ice craft attempting to break the World speed record by wind power alone.
The html and css for Greenbird was quite a challenge because so many technologies are incorporated into it. Lightwindows, blog, XML navigation, flash videos, audio and so on. The CSS is actually quite small for a site with so much going on behind the scenes.
Pixel perfect and cross browser compatible but not a single hack in sight; I love the challenge!

My latest work to go live....
A lot of thought and usability testing went into this design. My knowledge of eye-tracking played a large part in not only the build but also the way the site interacts with the client by way of a mouse over colour on an otherwise black & white photo.
I have made extensive use of CSS3 on all pages to make the site more future proof.
